10 days Course

At the end of the training the participants will have;

  • Have an advanced knowledge of tactical and techniques for petrochemical incidents.
  • Understand the working of ICS 100 Introduction and 200 initial incident phase.
  • Be able to carry out confined space activities including search and rescue.
  • Be able to carry out safely hazardous material response to mitigate the effects of a release or perform initial rescue.
  • Be able to experience realistic live fire scenarios.
  • Be given the opportunity to practically exercise using the ICS and to develop the skills of command.
  • Be able to apply the latest 3D gas cooling techniques to structural fires (interior).

At the end of the training the participants will have;

  •  Be able to determine the potential dangers that may arise during an incident
  • Be able to gather information in order to determine the appropriate action plans
  • Be aware of the critical business processes
  • Be able to brief and debrief personnel
  • Be able to deploy resources safely
  • Be able to continuously monitor safety of personnel
  • Be able to evaluate progress and alter attack plan accordingly
  • Be able to build up experience during realistic incidents exercises

  • Monitoring stress in self and others
  • Debriefing the team

  • Be able to describe the ICS organization appropriate to a complexity of the incident
  • Be able apply the principles of ICS to manage single resources and initial action incidents in the participants own field of responsibility
  • Be able to experience commanding incidents

  • Be able to show competency in the students focus area of responsibility in accordance with the principals of ICS
